First about me<\/strong>
\nMy name is Linda Lee.
\nI was born in England, and lived in Staines, which is near London on the river Thames, with my mum and dad, brother and three sisters.
\nAs a child I was always drawing and at school the art room was my favourite class room. I would draw anything and everything I saw and made up stories to fit the drawings. My first commission was for a class mate in exchange for her doing my maths homework!<\/p>\n

The only thing I wanted to do when I left school was to go to art college and become an artist.<\/p>\n

\"Painting<\/a>
Painting that I made at Matthew Arnold Girls School Staines in 1966, that hung in the headmistresses office.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

So when I was 17 years old, I went to Guildford and then Farnham School of Art to study painting and sculpture.<\/p>\n

But instead of finishing the course, I went to live in Holland, only for a couple of years was the plan, and there I studied illustration at the Rietveld Academie of Art in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

Then for the next thirty years I illustrated for many Dutch publishers, children\u2019s books, school and educational books and magazines. During that time my beautiful daughter Lisa was born.

Now about ‘It\u2019s Another Day’<\/strong>
\nMy husband \u2013 journalist and photographer Hans Frederiks<\/a> \u2013 created our weblog: www.thefredlees.com<\/a> back in 2005 to publicise more of our photos, articles and illustration projects and where I began \u2018A drawing every other day\u2019<\/a> in 2011.
\nFor the first half year I actively posted a drawing every other day but, for many reasons it grounded to a halt, for me, and lay dormant for ages!

\nUntil a few weeks ago we decided to breath new life into ‘A Drawing Every Other day’ and my very own weblog \u2018It\u2019s Another Day\u2019 was born!
\n\"iADWEB02\"<\/a>
\n\u2018It\u2019s Another Day\u2019 is a digital sketch book, note pad and diary, filled with anything and everything that I see and that comes into my head \u2013 sound familiar?
\nI\u2019ll try and post regularly, maybe every day, maybe every other day but if not today then definitely\u2026 another day!<\/p>\n

Pssss\u2026 and after more than 40 years I\u2019m still living in Holland and alive and kicking in Amsterdam!<\/p>\n
